Kahoot! One of the best online classroom application.

Even before Online Distance Learning (ODL) began, I had a few experiences using online classroom applications in my previous face-to-face classes. In my perspective, the classes have become more exciting and fun due to the usage of these applications. My absolute favourite would be Kahoot!, an application where teachers or lecturers will put up quizzes and start the game in the classroom when they teach as a part of the lesson. It is enjoyable because all of us, the class members, get excited and competitive. About Kahoot!, it was founded in 2012 by joint work with three personal inventors and professors from a university based in Norway. Since then, this application has attracted more than 9 million users used by teachers and students. As an award-winning application, Kahoot! moto is "to make learning awesome!"

To have access to this application is very easy; when signing up, they will ask what type of account they are using, such as student or teacher. Then, everyone can proceed signing up using their e-mail. There are two options to choose from: using the application for free or signing up for the paid ones. The free option is already great to use as the features provided are great for learning. If they are finished with the process, people can easily access games on this application by inserting its unique code. Before that, it is even easier to create a game. People need to click on the generate button on top of the page to choose from four-game options: a quiz with multiple choice answers, jumble with putting solutions incorrect order, discussion with one question survey without points, and survey with poll without issues to gather opinions. For example, when a teacher chooses to create a quiz, there will be a pop-up column that needs to be filled with details such as the title of the game, length to answer each question, and many more. It is recommended to upload pictures and videos to make the quiz more fun. Then, you are done! Save the quiz and have a test before releasing the game to the class.

The way the game is conducted is quite simple too. The game will start once the teacher pushes the start button, and every student must look at the screen in front of them and press the answer on their gadgets. The game's template might be a bit confusing initially, but they will get used to it as time goes by. The colour choices for the game are very eye-catching and easily memorisable.

All in all, Kahoot! is a fantastic application to be used in the classroom. Students can have fun while learning, and I think by saying that, the Kahoot! Management has achieved its company's motto.
