You have almost completed this semester, so, how do you view Critical Literacy now? If you have any comments and suggestions please do so as it helps for betterment of the course as a whole.

PUTRAJAYA: Most parents who refuse to vaccinate their children are those who live in the cities and are highly educated, said Health Minister Datuk Seri Dr. S. Subramaniam today. “The ministry has detected nearly 1,600 children who did not get vaccinated last year and this figure is increasing every year”. By Bernama - July 28, 2017 @ 11:37 p.m. Why do you think this is happening, what are the arguments for the refusal of vaccination.

Proposition: It is never appropriate for our government to restrict freedom of speech. Provide at least two (2) premises and (2) counter arguments for the proposition. Write in complete paragraph.

“If money were the only criterion by which a child’s welfare can be gauged, then a baby bought for as much as RM40,00 on the black market would seem set for life. For money-rich but child-poor couples, it is a small price to pay to introduce as small life into their homes. The cot is gilded, the blanket monogrammed, the college fund filled to the brim. All that’s waiting is a bun in the oven. And when there is a baby-for-sale racket, money can indeed buy happiness. And after all, why not?” (NST, March 3, 2013). How do you view above statement?

You heard comments and maybe grievances from your seniors about Critical Literacy, but what is/are expectation (s) or hope for this course as you are just started.
